Abstract

Job satisfaction is defined as the extent to which an employee feels self-motivated, content and satisfied with his/her job. An employee feels job satisfaction when he or she is having job stability, career growth and a comfortable work life balance. Job satisfaction or employee satisfaction is a measure of workers’ contentedness with their job. Job satisfaction can be measured in cognitive, affective, and behavioral components. Job satisfaction refers to how well a job provides fulfillment of a need or want, or how well it serves as a source or means of enjoyment. Job satisfaction is the degree to which individuals feel positively or negatively about their jobs.
