Abstract

Traditional world is changing but working schedule is not. The problem is much prevalent in the nuclear family wherein dual-earner couples face in integrating in work and family lives up to a large extent. Traditionally, within a family unit one partner was supposed to stay at home while other was meant to work in all crazy schedules. This paper focuses the issues faced by women in integrating work–life balance, developing of a comprehensive model of organisational family responsiveness that will incorporate policies on work life, human resource incentives and work redesign in context of work culture that will facilitate the complete implementation and integration of work–life policies.
